The metrics

Zero-touch counts four core steps: arrival, supplier, coding, and sending. Approval steps do not count against it, because approval is meant to be human work.

Where work happens

A table of process steps with the share still done by hand. This is the shortlist for your next improvement. It also shows purchase order coverage, since an invoice without an order has nothing to be held against.

Suppliers

Volume, value, zero-touch rate, manual steps, corrections, and median time, per supplier. Sort by Most manual work and the top of that list is where a coding rule pays for itself.

Recommendations

Glimps does the arithmetic and proposes concrete settings:
  • More autopilot for a supplier with a run of clean invoices.
  • Coding proposals learned from your own corrections.
  • Fixed coding for a supplier you coded by hand too often.
  • A contract for a supplier that invoices regularly without a purchase order.

Filter by period, supplier, processing type, and purchase order coverage. Click a process step to see its invoices. Export the supplier breakdown to CSV for whoever wants it in a spreadsheet.
Compare two periods rather than staring at one. A zero-touch rate of 61% means nothing by itself. Rising from 48% to 61% after you fixed the coding for three suppliers means everything.
