# Team and invitations

> Invite colleagues, set their role, and manage two-factor authentication.

Find your team under **Settings > Team**. Administrators manage it.

**Settings > Team** covers the administration you are in. Is your organization made up of several administrations? Then set who can open which administration in the [organization overview](/insights/firm-portal#team). Settings > Team points you there.

## Inviting a colleague

<Steps>
  <Step title="Send the invitation">
    Fill in the mail address and pick the role: administrator, user, or approver. See [Roles and access](/roles).
  </Step>

  <Step title="They accept">
    The mail carries a link that shows which administration and which role they are accepting.
  </Step>

  <Step title="They are in">
    If they already have a Glimps account, they are added to your administration. If not, they set a name and a password first.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Pending invitations stay in the list until they are accepted. Resend one if the link expired.

## Changing a role

Change the role in the list. It applies the next time that person loads the app.

<Warning>
  Do not remove your last administrator. Appoint the new one first.
</Warning>

## Removing access

You remove somebody on the **Team** tab of the [organization overview](/insights/firm-portal#team), not under Settings > Team. In the menu of their row, choose **Change access** and click **Remove** next to an administration, or choose **Remove everywhere**. You cannot remove your own access. Another administrator does that.

Removing somebody takes away their access to that administration. Their history stays: the invoices they processed, the questions they answered, and the approvals they gave all keep their name.

If they approve invoices, reassign anything still open first. See [Declined invoices](/approvals/rejections#reassigning).

## Two-factor authentication

An organization administrator can make two-factor authentication mandatory for everybody, with **Enforce MFA for all users** on the **Settings** tab of the [organization overview](/insights/firm-portal#settings). People who have not set it up are asked to at their next sign-in.

Individuals can switch it on for themselves at any time. See [Signing in](/account/sign-in#two-factor-authentication).

## Who may send invoices by mail

Every user and administrator of an administration may mail invoices to its inbound address. You do not have to add colleagues as allowed senders. See [Invoices by mail](/intake/email).
