# Getting invoices in

> The four ways an invoice reaches Glimps, and how to choose between them.

An invoice can reach Glimps in four ways. Most companies use two or three at the same time.

## Which one to use

  Mail intake and the mailbox can run side by side. Glimps recognises an invoice it already has, so an invoice that arrives twice does not become two invoices. See [duplicate detection](/invoices/checks#duplicates).

## What Glimps accepts

* PDF, including scans. A scanned document is read with OCR.
* Images (JPG or PNG), such as a photo of a receipt. Only by upload, not by mail.
* A UBL XML file, together with the PDF of the same invoice under the same file name. By upload or from a mailbox.
* One file holding several invoices. Glimps notices, and asks before it splits.
