# Signing in

> Create your account, accept an invitation, reset a password, and set up two-factor authentication.

Glimps lives at [platform.useglimps.com](https://platform.useglimps.com). One account works for every administration you were given access to.

## Sign in

Enter your email and password, and click **Sign in**.

* The eye icon in the password field shows or hides your password.
* **Caps Lock is on** appears under the field while Caps Lock is on.
* **Forgot password?** sits next to the password label.
* A password manager can fill in the form for you.

Not a customer yet? **Try the demo first**, under the form, opens the demo.

<Note>
  The sign-in page opens in Dutch. After you sign in, Glimps uses the language from your profile. See [Your profile](/account/profile#interface-language).
</Note>

## Accept an invitation

Most people start with an invitation mail from a colleague.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the link">
    The link shows which administration you are joining and with which role. Check both before you continue.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set your name and password">
    If you do not have an account yet, fill in your full name and pick a password. A password needs at least eight characters.

    <Check>You are signed in straight away, in the administration from the invitation.</Check>
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  Invitation links expire. If yours is refused, ask an administrator to send a new one from **Settings > Team**.
</Note>

## Forgot your password

Use **Forgot password?** next to the password label on the sign-in screen. You get a mail with a reset link. Open the newest mail if you requested more than one, because an older link stops working.

<Warning>
  Some mail filters open links before you do, which uses up the reset token. If the link says it is invalid the moment you click it, ask your IT team about link scanning, and request a fresh mail.
</Warning>

## Two-factor authentication

Your organization can make two-factor authentication mandatory for everyone, on the **Settings** tab of the [organization overview](/insights/firm-portal). Glimps then asks you to set it up the next time you sign in.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Start enrollment">
    After your password, Glimps opens **Set up two-factor authentication**. Choose **Get started**, then scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy. You can type the setup code by hand instead.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Enter the six digit code from the app and choose **Verify and enable**.

    <Check>Glimps opens the app.</Check>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in from now on">
    After your password, Glimps asks for a fresh six digit code.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  Lost your phone? An administrator cannot reset two-factor authentication in the app. Mail support to have your enrollment reset, so you can set it up again.
</Warning>

## Switching administration

If you work in more than one administration, use the switcher at the top of the sidebar. Your role can differ per administration. See [Roles and access](/roles).
